The Emergency Plan provides an outline for developing and implementing an effective, efficient and timely response to any emergency or crisis which may affect the Town of Whitby and its residents. This plan has been prepared to provide critical information to key officials, agencies and departments within the Town about their responsibilities and responses during an emergency.

This plan will provide us with the framework to work through any crisis that may confront us now or in the future. For it to be effective, however, it is imperative for you to become familiar with the contents of the plan in order to be prepared should an emergency arise.

Sincerely,
Mayor Pat Perkins
